The goal of the Rogosin Institute Kidney Wellness Program is to empower you to take charge of your own health care decisions and achieve your best lifestyle!
On this site you will learn about treatment options including peritoneal dialysis, home hemodialysis, in-center hemodialysis, and transplant. You will also learn about necessary changes to your diet depending on the treatment option you choose, and have access to valuable resources. Dawn Edwards has experience with peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis, and home hemodialysis, and is a transplant recipient.
Cecilia Santana has experience with peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis, and is a transplant recipient.
Aaron Battle has experience with peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis, and is a transplant recipient.
Shira Antonio has experience with peritoneal dialysis and is a transplant recipient.
Isha Triguero has experience with in-center hemodialysis, and has been transplanted twice.
Charles Torres has experience as a dialysis professional and patient, and has dialyzed in-center, at home and is a transplant recipient.
Wellness at Home
It is our hope that you, the kidney patient, will be educated on how to take charge of your kidney health. As kidney patients ourselves, the Wellness Ambassadors want to assist you in understanding and realizing that you can thrive throughout your own kidney journey: learn more about your condition, its effects on your body, your choice in the type of dialysis that may best fit your lifestyle, and whether transplantation is right for you. By doing so, you will achieve Wellness at Home.
